Program – Teach others to sea kayak
The program will be your start to being able to introduce new people to the sport of kayaking. You will, among other things, subsequently to be able to act as an assistant instructor under a responsible instructor 2.
You will learn about imparting technique to new rowers, knowledge of safety, group responsibility and learned pedagogical tools that will help you learn from them.
Overall, the program will contain 6 modules with a focus on:
- Educational tools
- Getting used to the water, games and activities
- Performance quality, technique and focal points
- Weather and wind – the physical framework
- Cooling, safety and equipment
- Evaluation

Own kayak equipment
Towel
Packed lunch, snacks and a water bottle
Practical
Addresses:
We will hold the course at the following addresses.
The course is intended for:
Anyone who has experience with kayaking and wants to teach others the equipment and techniques, if you can meet the prerequisites.
Clothes:
Dress for the weather, think about the 3-layer principle in your clothing.
Meeting point:
You will receive an email the day before the course will be held.
Duration:
The course lasts up to 16 hours and will be held over 2 days.
Equipment:
We expect you to bring your own kayak equipment, such as:
- Kayak
- Paddle
- Spray deck
- Life jacket and wet suit
- Paddle float & pump
If you don't have the equipment, just send us an email and let us know. All our equipment is CE approved.
Last registration deadline:
2 days before the held course.
Prerequisites:
- You must have a valid EPP 2 certificate in kayaking, which you are trained as an instructor 1 in.
- You have a valid 6-hour first aid certificate.
- That you are mine. 15 years.
Parking:
Good parking options, close to the loading area.
Facilities:
Changing room and toilet for both boys and girls.
Participant:
There will be 4-8 participants on this course.
