This test is for you who have completed the instructor 2 course, either at Get Outdoor or elsewhere. The test is prepared according to the IPP norms. There will be an instructor and an external censor on the day.

Program

Overall, the program will include:

  1. Welcome intro to the day
  2. I2 have theory test
    • tasks in teaching, level assessment, risk assessment, tour planning and tour management.,
    • multiple choice task
  3. Practical assessment of risk factors
  4. Practical teaching task
  5. Practical assignment in tour management
  6. Assessment and evaluation

Meeting point:
You will receive an email the day before the course will be held.

Parking:
Good parking options, close to the loading area.

Clothes:
Dress for the weather, think about the 3-layer principle in your clothing.

Facilities:
Changing room and toilet for both boys and girls.

Last registration deadline:
2 days before the held course.

Duration:
The test lasts up to 16 hours and will be held over 1 day.

Sleepover:
It is possible to stay overnight by bringing your own tent. Contact us, or talk to one of the instructors on the course.

Equipment:
As a rule, you must bring all the equipment yourself, such as:

  • Kayak
  • Paddle
  • Spray deck
  • Life jacket and wet suit
  • Paddle float & pump

If you are in doubt about something or already know that you are missing something, contact us. All our equipment is CE approved.

Participant:
There will be 4-8 participants on this course.

The course is intended for:
Everyone who has completed the instructor 2 course.

Prerequisites:

  • My. age 18 years
  • It is assumed that the aspirant has EPP 3 and experience as Instructor 1 sea.
  • It is also recommended that the I2 aspirant prepares before the course by reading the following basic syllabus:
    • Compendium Sea kayak instructor 2/EPP3 (Youth ring)
    • EPP2 sea norm
    • I1 have the norm
  • First aid certificate (min. 8 hours)
  • Completed DKF instructor 2 (sea) course

Learning on Kayak course

Fill the backpack with learning and knowledge. When you are on a trip with Get Outdoor, there will always be a trained outdoor expert who will meet you at your level. The teaching is at eye level, and there is a guarantee of cool experiences that move and challenge you.

Learning and laughter go hand in hand. On our team there is room for fun. In addition to the exercise, it is a place for relaxation. Although we take the role of outdoor expert seriously, we are informal in the teaching. Because after all, we only have the fun we make ourselves.
