On the IPP3 sea kayak course, you are no longer considered a beginner, and it is expected that you can perform and navigate safely and efficiently at sea. The course works in depth with technique, safety and tour rowing.
The kayak course for continuers - IPP3 is a course where you continue to work on the skills that have started on IPP2. On this course (IPP3) emphasis will be placed on working with skills to achieve safe rowing at sea in winds up to 5-8 m/s.
Note – The level is passed by test. It is expected that you master the techniques that may have been described at the previous levels.
- 16 hours on the water

The course gives you an introduction and prepares you to be able to take the IPP3 test.

Official certificate issued by the Danish Canoe and Kayak Association costs DKK 250 - Can be purchased after passing the test.

Meeting point:
You will receive an email the day before the course will be held.
Parking:
Good parking options, close to the loading area.
Clothes:
Dress for the weather, think about the 3-layer principle in your clothing.
Facilities:
There may be an opportunity to change clothes and a toilet for both boys and girls.
Duration:
The course lasts up to 16 hours and will be held over 2 days.
Sleepover:
It is possible to stay overnight by bringing your own tent. Contact us, or talk to one of the instructors on the course.
Equipment:
We expect you to bring your own kayak equipment, such as:
- Kayak
- Paddle
- Spray deck
- Life jacket and wet suit
- Paddle float & pump
If you do not have the equipment, simply contact us and make us aware of this. All our equipment is CE approved.

The course is for those who want to immerse themselves further in kayaking techniques, safety and tour rowing.
Prerequisites:
Mine. age 15 years - with an adult.
Since Kayak course IPP3 – Beginner to practice is a continuation of IPP2, it is expected that you have IPP2 or equivalent.

There will be 4-6 participants on this course.
