Program
The tree climbing beginners course deals with the 6 main areas which will act as the foundation. The 6 main areas cover e.g. use of correct knots and plugs, ropes and the necessary equipment.
You will learn about:
- Top rope climbing – Climbing in an anchored tree.
- Leadership – Correct communication and intermediate safeguards.
- Abseil – Rappelling at a calm and safe pace.
During the course you will be introduced to different types of wood, safety and correct securing techniques will be the main focus throughout the course. You will, among other things, also learn about the different access rules for driving in public and private forests.
The course will have 16 lessons spread over 2 days lasting 16 hours in total.

- Top roping
- Guidance
- Abseiling
- Knowledge of tree species
- Access rules

Who is tree climbing intended for?
The tree climbing course for beginners is for anyone who wants to start climbing trees safely. We meet you at eye level, so if you've never had experience with tree climbing before, you'll get the necessary skills with us so you can get out into nature more.
Clothes:
Clothes for the weather and some good sturdy boots or sports shoes

Good parking and toilet facilities
Equipment:
You don't have to think about bringing any equipment, all the above equipment will be provided to you. All our equipment is CE approved.
If you own equipment yourself, please bring it with you to get a better understanding of your own equipment. If you are missing a carabiner or a climbing rope, let us know and we will find a solution.

Mine. age 16 years - with an adult
Participating:
There must be a number of min. 4 participants before the course is held.
